Bruno's
painting is profoundly inspired by the surf universe. That
this reveals the open-mindedness and eternal youth of the
community of the surfers. These universal values has the ablility
to speak to each of us...
Happening, Art gallery, Magazines... Bruno likes sharing these
universal values through his painting with the others.
Born in Cotentin and son of sea fisherman, Bruno grew in the
marine atmosphere of the quays. He discovers Surfing Culture
during a long stay in California during the 80's and since
surfs regularly the Norman and Brittany coasts. Today Bruno
is 39 years old, married, two children, and keeps a total
freedom in his painting.

by the organization crew to be featured during this great and
international fashion event. Intense and ephemere moment with
plenty of emotions through two creativity world. Surf Art was
in spotlights.

"les artistes
et la mer" is a fine art gallery that is currently well
known to feature recognised marine artist. Many resident are
the famous POM painters (Painter corporation belong to French
Marine Coproration. They have the right to sign with an anchor
following their names). Bruno was resident during the year 2005,
and exhibit surf art canvas. It was a recognition of his work.
More that, through tis event, it shows that surf art is not
"ghetto art" and can take place naturraly in art place.
"because fisrt of all it's simply art...". For the
painter this event was a milestones in his path. |
